FirstLook Services specializes in LiDAR scanning, BIM modeling, and digital documentation for construction, architecture, and property management projects. We deliver high-precision data and 3D models that help clients plan, build, and manage spaces more efficiently.

We’re expanding our field team and seeking a LiDAR Scanning & Interior Survey Specialist to support our growing portfolio of spatial data capture projects across residential and commercial environments.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced LiDAR scanning and interior survey professional who can perform detailed, accurate surveys with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using Leica RTC360 scanners and is comfortable managing both field and post-processing workflows.

This role offers flexible, project-based work with opportunities for continued collaboration on nationwide scanning and modeling projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site LiDAR scanning and interior surveys of residential and commercial properties
  • Capture complete and accurate spatial data using Leica RTC360 hardware
  • Process and register point cloud data using Leica Register360
  • Deliver clean, organized, and properly aligned datasets to project teams
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
  • Maintain data integrity and documentation throughout the scanning process


Required Experience

  • Proven experience conducting LiDAR-based or 3D interior surveys
  • Familiarity with architectural layouts, construction drawings, and documentation standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to precision
  • Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and meet project deadlines
  • Willingness to travel for on-site survey work as required


Preferred Experience

  • Proficiency with Leica RTC360 workflows
  • Advanced skills in Register360 for point cloud registration and alignment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with design and engineering teams
  • STEM background (surveying, engineering, architecture, or related discipline)
  • Access to professional-grade LiDAR equipment (not required—equipment can be provided)
