Project Overview:
At a large multi-building construction site in Kearny, NJ, our team was tasked with performing high-frequency visual documentation across five active structures. Using the Insta360 camera system, we conducted multiple interior and exterior walkthroughs each month, producing immersive, panoramic media that tracks real-time progress throughout the build. Solo panoramas were also captured at key locations to highlight specific work zones and milestones.
To make the media navigable and site-relevant, each walkthrough was uploaded to DroneDeploy — layered over a master drone map for exterior reference and integrated into interior floor plans for spatial accuracy. While the drone map itself was a one-time deliverable, the value lay in its ability to serve as a base layer for visualizing and organizing all ongoing documentation.
